Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how memrio Inc. (“memrio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, the Memrio platform, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you create an account, sign in, create or edit projects, upload images, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Service.
Depending on how you use Memrio, we may collect:
- Account information – your email address and an encrypted password when you register, and authentication metadata (such as email confirmation status, last sign-in time, and session tokens) handled through our authentication provider.
- Project and design content – the projects, designs, shapes, text, layouts, and any images or files you upload while using the editor. This content is stored so you can return to and edit your projects.
- Communications – any messages you send to contact@memrio.ai or through support channels, including the contents of those messages.
- Technical information – your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, and pages viewed on the Service, collected automatically through standard server logs and cookies.
- Usage information – information about how you interact with the editor and the Service (for example, which features you use), used in aggregate to improve the product.
You may visit our public marketing pages anonymously. Creating an account and using the editor requires you to provide at least an email address and password.
We do not currently process payments or credit-card information directly through the Service. If we add paid features in the future, payment information will be handled by a third-party payment processor and this policy will be updated accordingly.
What do we use your information for?
Any information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways:
- To provide and operate the Service – to create and authenticate your account, save your designs, allow you to return to in-progress projects, and deliver the features of the editor.
- To personalize your experience – so we can remember your preferences and tailor the editor to your needs.
- To improve the website and the editor – we continually strive to improve Memrio based on the information, behavior, and feedback we receive.
- To improve customer service – your information helps us respond more effectively to your support requests and questions.
- To send service and product communications – the email address you provide may be used to send account-related messages (such as email confirmation, password reset, and security notices) and, with appropriate consent where required by law, occasional company news, product updates, and information about related features or services. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service – including detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the Service you have requested.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of administrative, technical, and physical security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
- All traffic between your browser and the Service is transmitted over HTTPS using TLS (commonly referred to as SSL) encryption.
- Account passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider and are never accessible to memrio staff in plain text.
- Project data and uploaded files are stored with our hosting and storage providers and are accessible only to authorized personnel who need that access to operate and support the Service, and who are required to keep the information confidential.
- We restrict internal access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your device through your web browser (if you allow) that enable our systems to recognize your browser and remember certain information.
We use cookies to:
- Keep you signed in to your Memrio account (authentication and session cookies).
- Remember your preferences and certain editor state for future visits.
- Understand and analyze how the Service is used in aggregate, so we can improve site experiences and tools.
We may use third-party service providers (such as our authentication and hosting providers) whose products set cookies on our behalf. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us operate, secure, and improve the Service.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. If you disable essential cookies, parts of the Service (such as signing in or saving projects) may not function correctly.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties for their own marketing purposes.
This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, providing the Service, or servicing you, such as:
- Cloud hosting providers (used to host the Memrio application and database).
- Authentication providers (used to manage account sign-in, password reset, and email verification).
- File storage providers (used to store your uploaded files and design assets).
- Email delivery providers (used to send transactional and, where applicable, marketing emails).
- Analytics and error-monitoring providers (used to understand performance and diagnose issues).
These providers only receive the information they need to perform their services for us, and they are contractually required to keep that information confidential and use it only on our behalf.
We may also release your information when we believe such release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of memrio, our users, or others.
Non-personally identifiable aggregate information (such as anonymized usage statistics) may be shared with other parties for analytics, business reporting, marketing, or other lawful purposes.
Third-party links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products, services, or links on our website (for example, links from blog content or partner integrations). These third-party sites and services have separate and independent privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites or services. We nonetheless seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome feedback about any third party we link to.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act compliance
We comply with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Memrio is a professional design platform, and the Service is directed to people who are at least 13 years old (and, in many regions, the age of majority).
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@memrio.ai so we can delete it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your information.

You can exercise these rights, or close your account at any time, by contacting us at contact@memrio.ai. We will respond within the time periods required by applicable law.
Online privacy policy only
This online Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our website and the Memrio Service, and not to information collected offline or through channels other than this website.
